The Rise and Shine Award
(AKA The Early Bird Award for the Momwriter who gets
up the earliest to write
BEFORE taking care of kids)
For rising at four am to find time to write, Sharon
Waldrup (Mntmommy) takes this prize! Her commitment and tenacity are
to be commended! LOL Also nominated and deserving of kudos for commitment
to writing: Lain Ehmann and Staci Dumoski.
Scales of Justice Award
(or the Momwriter who has best been able to balance
writing, s/o and kids without killing anyone!)
Now this was CLOSE! But Lain Ehmann, you edged out in
front! Also nominated: Tracy Jones, Chris Wolcoff, Tracy Simmons, Mary
Jane, Elaine Riley, Melody Vasquez and Michelle Pearson.
Indy 500 Award
(for the Momwriter whose come the farthest in their writing career since
joining the list)
It's a tie!!!! Michelle Pearson and Grandpaw grabbed the wheel and their
writing careers left us all in the dust! Other go-getters nominated:

The Whip Cracker's Award
(most motivated Momwriter)
Since taking over the Novel Challenge earlier this year, Tracy Simmons
has shown each of us the true meaning of cracking the whip! Best do
what she says -- your reward might be a published book by next spring!

there with a kind word or a pick-me-up. You ladies are wonderful! Also

"Most likely to become famous and forget
about us" award
Now everyone knows Tracy Jones would never forget about
Momwriters! But she is a bright star on the writing horizon and you
voted her most likely to become famous! Other stars rising and shining

Kumbaya Award
(AKA The Peacemaker's Award)
Melody Vasquez and Ann Silberman, you take the cake for smoothing over
rough spots on the list. Melody will now strum the tune on her guitar

(Bubbliest personality)
Who never fails to end each sentence with a thousand exclamation points?
Who always makes us smile with her frequent "hehehehehehe's"?

(AKA The "I'm Funnier Than my Two Year-Old" Award)
"Touch zee pen. . . " Chris Walcoff! We think you're hilarious!
You always make us laugh (especially when you try to sell our directory
for $250.00!). Other list comics we love to laugh with: Tracy Simmons,
Kate Rauhauser- Smith, Lisa Beamer, Ann Silberman and Tracy Jones.
The Evilest Mind Award
This was THE MOST hotly campaigned-for contest and the
funniest. But in the end, amazingly, it was a TIE! Tracy Simmons and
Chris Walcoff, you're both EQUALLY evil in our book! But watch out!
You just may have some competition next year: Chris Barrett was also
nominated and was right on your heels!
Heart & Soul of the List Award
Despite the fact that we developed these awards for
the members of the list and not for us behind-the-scenes people, you
all, VERY overwhelmingly nominated Jerri and I for this award. What
else can we do but say thank you? Each of you has made it possible for
