Freelance Writer/Publisher/Editor/Web Designer. I live near the beach
with my 4-year old daughter, one dog and two cats. Outside of writing
and photography, I enjoy reading, swimming, snorkeling and volleyball.
When I'm not doing any of these things, you can usually find me traipsing
around goofing off with my daughter; who is the inspiration for my writing.
I am a member of the Romance Writers of America, Poetry Society of America,
Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators as well as the local
romance chapter, Chesapeake Romace Writers. And as Tigger would say,
"Ta Ta For Now!!" My adult erotic/fetish/bdsm website (with stories, links & photos)
Currently I'm a monthly columnist at The Philosophical Mother http://www.philosophicalmother.com/, and I also copyedit the magazine. Otherwise, I run an online editing group, Sabina's World Editing Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sabinaedit/), am working on a proposal for a book that will be based on interviews with veterans, and actually try to write a little beyond the standing projects. I'm hoping to build up my publishing credits enough to manage landing a job teaching in a local college, and eventually work my way up to one of state universities (one with "free tuition for immediate family members" to send those little angels to school!). My other life goal is to make enough money to be able to afford a house that can accommodate enough bookshelves for all my books!
I have been interested in writing since 1979. I have been working at getting things published. I am also currently working on a Novel writing course which is going really well. I was born and raised in Connecticut and now reside in South Carolina
with my fiancé and son. Some of my other interests are Country
music, crafts, reading, cooking and baking.
Eliza is currently seeking a publisher for her children's picture book,
"Keeping Close". It is her wish that the book will help to
bring comfort to all the military families in the world.
After studying art history at university she worked for several years in a gallery in Central London. The London art scene serves as the backdrop to both her first novel, Lured by Lust, and her new release, the psychological thriller, Guilt. Later on, while working in the PR department at a top London law firm, Emma was inspired to pen the raunchy legal thriller Lawless Games, a steamy concoction of intrigue and simmering passions amongst London's legal jet set. In her third novel, Guilt, she explores how a family comes to terms with their dark past and long hidden secrets, and in particular how these secrets affect the mother- daughter relationship. Mothers often try and protect their daughters from making the same mistakes they made. But being over protective can have bitter consequences, as happens in Guilt. Readers of Guilt tell her it is a subject that they can relate to: that moment as a young woman when you realize that your mother is not so perfect after all. This is just one aspect in a thrilling psychological mystery that also gives the reader a fascinating insider's view of the London art scene. Two years ago Emma threw caution to the wind, and made her move from the small pond (UK) to the large pond (US). She now lives in Baltimore with her partner and fifteen month old daughter Stephanie. She is already working on her fourth novel, even though it is sometimes difficult to gain creative inspiration amongst the chaos of looking after a toddler. She is running an ongoing Guilt Depot at her site where you can dump your guilt (you'll feel better for it!). Just go to: http://www.emmakaufmann.net/guilt.html
