Heather Haapoja
Heather Haapoja is the wife of her high school sweetheart, Darren, and mom to four terrific kids, Nathan, Kaitlin, Emily and Timothy. Through the years she has also worn many other hats, from interior designer to daycare provider, but only recently discovered her true vocation. Her writing career officially began on April 21, 2001, with the ceremonious clicking of "send mail" on her first email submission.

"Writing has always been an important part of my life, but for many years I only shared it with family and friends. When I finally realized that others might benefit from my words, it was an incredible revelation. I had found my "niche" in life - a real career that truly felt right. Since then, I haven't looked back."

Heather's ultimate writing goal is the publication of her children's books. She currently has several picture books and middle readers in various stages of development and is actively working towards publication. She also has had several articles published with online publications.

Heather Shepherd
Heather Shepherd is the Mother to six Beautiful Children with one more on the way, and the proud wife to Tom. Her and her family reside in Ohio, where she loves to write Poetry, Articles, Essays and Screenplays. She is also the Founder of Peace of Life, a nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding Survivors of abuse on their road to Spiritual Healing. Looking to become a Print Magazine in the fall of 2002, A Peace of Life has been her Dream for over a decade and she is now fulfilling that calling.
