{MomWriters Write}
I have been writing for 15 years now and have become a full-time freelance Writer. Although, I still have major responsibilities (homeschooling 3 children & moonlighting as a Private Investigator) that take up a large chunk of my time, I still work full-time hours at my writing. I've found that is is necessary to pay the Price of Success: Hardwork & Determination in order to succeed at this type of work. I currently write for: Suite 101: Christian Home Education http://www.suite101.com/welcome.cfm/Christian_home_education/
This dynamic woman has been noted and quoted by some of the wildest-eyed moms in the world. She has been spotlighted in several publications and spoken to groups of zany writers, sensible college students and wild-eyed moms everywhere. Jeanni lives what she writes and writes what she lives. Zapped early by the writing bug and the ability to bring giggles out of stuffed shirts, she proves to be funny, informative and charming. CREDENTIALS: Jeanni Brosius has been a reporter and syndicated columnist for six years and a storyteller and poet for more than twenty-five years. She is the mother of a teenage daughter and a pre-teen son. She also serves as membership chair for the National Society of Newspaper Columnists (www.columnists.com).
On the rare occasions she finds herself with some free time, she enjoys, reading, trying out new recipes, and is hopelessly addicted to learning HTML. Write From My Lips the Website: http://www.writefrommylips.com Read her column, Kid at Heart at: http://www.womenonwriting.com/
With a full scholastic scholarship award she completed her undergraduate work at Washington University College, St. Louis, MO, with B.S. Degrees in English, Journalism and Communications. She did this, with help from her "up-for-sainthood" husband Bill, while teaching fulltime and managing (?) a "thriving" household of five teenagers. Mrs. Bramsch designs perception toys, composes perceptual/motor exercises
and songs, and writes "I Feel Wonderful" stories -- all for
children. In January, 1999 she began publishing a magazine for parents
on the Internet. The Empowered Parenting Ezine, a free, weekly publication
for parents, step parents, grandparents, educators and even parents-to-be,
now serves 1000 readers in the year 2000. Read all about EP, Joan's
Ebooks and FREE! articles:
Joan's articles have appeared in several national and international
print periodicals including Discipleship Journal, Pray!, Today's Christian
Woman, Christian Reader, MOODY, and Living With Teenagers magazines.
She has also written curriculum, women's Bible study material, and small
group leader training material. Her first book, Residing near Philadelphia, Joan is happily married to Don, and has
three great kids: Daniel (18), Sarah (15), and Jonathan (14). In her
spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, baking, journaling, and perennial
gardening.
