MomMart Ads

What is it that you do? Would you like to let ALL the Momwriters know?

Momwriters is please to announce MWMom-Mart, a special day every week set aside so you can advertise what you do.

Each week, you will be able to post ONLIST your book, craft, hobby or business. Whatever it is you do to earn income, or not, is welcome to be posted.

Here are the rules:

1. Your subject line needs to begin with *AD*

2. You must include your e-mail addy so that members may contact you OFFLIST if they are interested.

3. Links to pictures/web sites are welcome; however, pay-per-click sites and referrals, unless defined or disclosed in the ad, ARE NOT ALLOWED

4. Momwriters assumes no liability for transactions between parties. In other words, anything you purchase as a result of reading an ad off the Momwriters LISTSERV is between you and the other party.

5. MWMom-Mart Day is limited to Saturdays ONLY and ends Saturday midnight, your time. Please limit your ads to SATURDAY ONLY. Posting on Sunday or any other day of the week because you *forgot* is NOT an excuse and will result in you not being able to post your ad the following week.

6. Please post your ad only once on MWMom-Mart day.

To give you an idea of what MWMom-Mart will be like, I've asked Gayle Garrod to give us a sample ad of Simple Elegance, her handcrafted notecard, journal and greeting card business:

Simple Elegance by Gayle specializes in handcrafted greeting cards, note cards and journals. While selection is currently limited at this time all cards are made with loving care by Gayle who only puts out quality, professional looking cards. For a look at two of the cards go to:

Greeting cards are $4.95 with a $1.00 s/h charge for up to 4 greeting cards. All cards are blank inside.

Cards currently available are:
Black cat on light green 'pillow' on either green or brown cardstock
2 Butterflies (1 gold/1 copper) on medium blue cardstock
2 Butterflies (1 lime green/1 lemon yellow) on purple cardstock
Single black outlined butterfly colored in blue/violet/pink on stardust cardstock
Either an orange or a pink rose with a Thinking of You on stardust cardstock
Triple hearts in blue/violet/pink/red centered on stardust cardstock
and
A Black teddy bear facing a dark blue heart offset to the left on glossy white cardstock
Notecards are $2.95 each or 5 for $12.90 with $1.00s/h for up to 5 notecards:
A Violet rose offset to the right with a Thank you on a stardust cardstock
Blue trees with a sponged multi-blue colored background on a tan cardstock
Black trees on speckled blue/silver background tan cardstock
Journal's are only available on a made to order bases.
They are 80 pages, wire bound and 5 1/2 X 8 for $12.95and $3.00 s/h. Choices are Butterflies, flowers, or
fantasy.

I've personally seen and used Gayle's notecards and they are absolutely beautiful!

Momwriters very first MWMom-Mart will begin Saturday, April 13, 2002, so hurry and get *your* ad together!
