Who is bouncy, bouncy, bouncy all the time? It's our very own Tigger, a.k.a. Elisabeth M. Abbott. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she has resided in the Virginia Beach area for four years. She lives with her "Baby Tigger" Catherine, who is six years old, and her significant other of two years, Leroy.

Elisabeth has been writing since elementary school. Her earliest memory as an author is from 4th grade when she had to write a story and "publish" it herself. "It was such a rush to see my name in print!" she recalls. When she got to junior high, she had several poems published in an anthology.

Now, as a professional, Elisabeth is most proud of the fact that she can say that she is a published author and she can tell people where to look for her work. Another accomplishment for her is recently becoming the editor for an adult magazine.

Tigger's writing interests are vast. She writes erotica, romance and children's stories, but her favorite writing is poetry. "It's so honest, it comes straight from the heart."

Elisabeth credits her daughter Catherine with being her biggest inspiration for writing. "Her brightness and cheeriness sorta seeps thru me and makes my muse wake up."

Elisabeth's favorite place to write is curled up on an oversized couch or chair. "I like long hand [when] writing letters and in my journal, and when I'm in the car, I use the tape recorder," she says. "For my serious stories, I would rather use the computer."

When Tigger isn't writing, she enjoys swimming, reading, playing volleyball, dancing and designing websites. For relaxation, she bounces into a hot bubble bath with soft music and candles.

Some fun facts about Elisabeth:

Pets: She has four cats: Bootsie, Blackie, Pikachu and Tiger. She also has two dogs: Lady and Baby.

Favorite Author: Nora Roberts

Biggest Pet peeve: Empty drink containers left in the fridge.

Favorite Vacation Spot: The Bahamas.

Last movie seen in a theatre: "Exit Wounds" starring Steven Segal. "Definitely enjoyed it. Would give it eight thumbs up!"

Favorite Quote: "The only way to be in life is bouncy, bouncy, bouncy."

If she could travel anywhere in the world: "This is a HARD question. I have so many places on my wish list but let's see...probably...Paris...Italy...Rome...Scotland...and other places."
